There’s a new product on the market to consider when looking for new ATV tires specifically designed for snow. Maxxis has introduced the new Snow Beast.
The Maxxis Snow Beast is a 6 ply radial tire with 23/32 tread depth, just shy of ¾ of an inch. The tire features large spaced out lugs for better traction and to allow the snow to be thrown out from between the lugs in rotation.
In addition to the tread pattern being specifically designed for snow Maxxis also used a rubber compound made for cold weather. And for extreme winter riding premade holes are available for mounting tire studs.
Currently the Maxxis Snow Beast is available in 25×9-R12 and 25×10-R12.
