ATV Tire Ply’s:

Ply Tires – These tires are specifically for sand and dune riding. Small to mid-size cc ATV’s should use a tire with 6-8 paddles and larger cc quads can use a tire with 10 paddles.

Ply & 4 Ply Tires – These are cheaper tires and make good stock replacement tires. Suitable for average use around the house, farm and light trail riding. Most suitable for small to mid-size ATV’s. These types of tires are prone to puncture easily from sharp objects.

Ply Tires – These tires are a good all around ply tire and are made for all aspects of riding, mudding, trail riding and rock crawling.

Ply Tires – These tires use a radial construction and are best for hard pack trails, rocky trails and rock crawling type expeditions. The 8 ply construction offers superior puncture resistance and the radial design offers a smooth ride and maximum footprint coverage.
